Keynotes: Tendency for all wounds to become infected. Patient is sensitive to touch, pressure, chill and cold drafts. Indicated for purulent (pus-filled) inflammations that are worse from pressure. Glands (including mammaries) are painful and very sensitive to nursing and washings. Mastitis; hoof infections; swollen joints; patient is extremely irritable. Worse from chill, cold air, touch and pressure. Better from warm soaks and wraps.
