Keynotes: Loss of appetite; acid indigestion; grain overdose. Digestive upset from overeating rich food; constipation, colic or bloat; Determined aversion to all food; Sudden failure of strength. Coldness, shivering, contractive cutting pain, which draws the animal up into a heap, like colic. Coat rough, staring; Straining in a predominant concurrent symptom. Patient is hard working and intense; toxemia from conventional drugs, poisons, vaccines and spoiled food; acetonemia and ketosis; deranged digestion with disorders of liver or abomasum; headache. Worse after eating, morning or becoming chilled. Better from warmth, rest and passing manure.
